Code of Conduct for Dson Cardinals

The Dson group of alliances is known to be a small but well organised and highly disciplined alliance. We have a culture of Courage, Integrity, Loyalty and Fairness that we are proud of. To maintain and build on this, we rely heavily on our leaders, The College of Cardinals.

To be a Cardinal, you are not only expected to be a high level player who knows the game well, but you must also be mature, respectable and nurturing.

We have a particular culture we expect our Cardinals to follow so they are acknowledged as good, strong, respectable players who lead by example. Before a player is promoted to Cardinal, he should agree to these codes of conduct.

Code Of Conduct:

1. The well being of Dson is first priority. There will be times you get angry but do not embarrass our Alliance by making a fuss or creating drama on any platform. You are the ambassadors of Dson so be careful in how you behave/talk/type. You are supposed to create order, not chaos.

2. Always act in a mature and nurturing manner. You are the senior players who guide and teach our newbies our alliance culture. If one of our players infringes our rules or culture, do take the time to teach the offender and tell him to stop. If he stops, good. If he continues to offend, inform the College of Cardinals then excommunicate (kick) him.

3. As a Cardinal, you are held to a higher standard of conduct than other players. Do not abuse your authority by threatening our smaller players or chastising them in public. Your task as a Cardinal is to lead and nurture, not abuse your power.

4. As part of the College of Cardinals, you should always show unity. If you have a problem with another Cardinal or disagree with one of his decisions, please use the Cardinal Whatsapp group to sort things out. Never argue in public.

5. You have the power to invite players into our alliance. If you do, they are your responsibility. You must teach them and guide them. Get them to read our blog, dsonsinespa.blogspot.com and join our LINE group. Impress on them the importance of discipline - they should obey instructions from the Patriarch and Cardinals without delay or debate. E.g. if the Patriarch says Titan Defence Up, they should immediately put Titans onto their lands. If the Patriarch says Titan Defence Down, they should immediately take Titans off their lands. This is critical to our alliance culture.

6. Our season end sequence is complicated. We use one mini/alternate/second account in Bronze/Mortals league to invite three Cardinals then kick the three at the same time so they end up in the same Bronze/Mortals league. The three will then set up Dson Ignis, Dson Glacis and the Dson Academy for the new season. As a Cardinal, you would be expected to help out in this.

7. I know some players may have been part of other alliances in the past. I expect any player with such history to have cleared up any problems before joining Dson. This is doubly true for aspiring Cardinals. I do not expect any past baggage to affect Dson. I also expect that any such Cardinal to commit 100% to Dson. I cannot know everyone's past. So if you cannot meet my expectations, do not accept any invite into the College of Cardinals.

8. When the time comes to elect a new Patriarch, all Cardinals are expected to cast their vote for the new supreme leader of Dson. Every Cardinal is expected to be 100% loyal to the new Patriarch as chosen by the majority. Even if you don't like the new Patriarch or have a different view, this guy whom we elect from among ourselves has been chosen by majority and *must* command our absolute loyalty.

9. Finally, there are no stupid questions. If you have anything you need to clarify or any issues to discuss, don't hesitate. Just send a message to the Cardinal's Whatsapp chat.

10. The Cardinals use Whatsapp chat app to communicate. Why? You need to give out your real mobile number to use it. It's a little act to show how much we trust each other. :)

Thanks & Regards,
[DS] Smorgasbord
Founder and Patriarch of the Dson Group of Alliances.
